How do I pull the lever?

Drag the lever handle all the way down and let go. On most machines in portrait, touch the glowing knob first and the lever swings out. Guide it back up gently for a softer spin. A half pull springs back without spinning. The Digital machine has a glowing Spin button instead of a lever.

What does Hold do?

Tap the button under a reel to keep that ingredient for the next spin while the other reels move. Holds are released after each spin, and at least one reel always stays free.

What is the difference between Cocktails and Wild?

In Cocktails, the machine picks a recipe from the collection first and lands its spirit, liqueur and mixer, so every spin is a drink you can make. In Wild, each reel spins freely. The machine suggests amounts and gives its verdict, from a classic it recognizes to pure chaos.

Why did a reel land on an empty space?

Some classics have no liqueur or no mixer, so a reel can land on its blank on purpose. It also happens when nothing on your shelf fits that reel. When no cocktail fits, the app says so instead of making one up.

How do I change machines?

Swipe sideways across the machine or tap the dots below it to move between Lounge, Chrome, Classic, Digital and Machine. Your reels and your current result stay as they are.

How do I see the tips again?

Open the Bar tab, tap the gear in the top corner and choose Show tips again.

Your bar

What are My Bar and Full Bar?

My Bar uses only the ingredients you have selected, so the machine lands on drinks you can make at home. Full Bar uses every ingredient in the collection, handy at a cocktail bar when you want something new to order. Switch between them at the top of the Bar tab. Your own selection stays saved either way.

What is the pantry?

Garnishes and finishing touches such as fresh citrus, mint, sugar, egg white and bitters. They never land on the reels, but a recipe only shows as ready when you have them too. Select them under Pantry in the Bar tab.

Can I use milliliters or ounces?

Yes. In the Bar tab, tap the gear and choose your recipe units. Amounts are written as practical bar measures in each system, and every recipe scales from one drink up to twelve.

Your iPhone

Which iPhones are supported?

Cocktail Shuffle runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later, in portrait and landscape.

How do I change the language?

The app is available in English and Swedish and follows your iPhone. To choose a language for Cocktail Shuffle alone, open the Settings app, then Apps, Cocktail Shuffle and Language.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Every recipe, photo and machine is stored on your iPhone, so it works anywhere.

Why is there no sound?

Sound follows your iPhone's Silent Mode. Turn Silent Mode off to hear the machines. With Reduce Motion turned on in Accessibility settings, the machines also move more gently.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account you used to buy the app.
